    I've narrowed down my use of those services to Spock, Facebook and LinkedIn. I still have a last.fm profile and all that, but I only use it to track music I listen to. And I don't count Pownce, but I do use it daily. Mash has a long, long way to go before I'd use it on a regular basis.

    For what it's worth, I'm finding the Yahoo! Avatar part more amusing than Mash. I might have to figure out a way to display my ridiculous avatar on this blog :)

    I liked Yahoo Avatars better than Mash as well.

    And apologies at how spammy the invite looked. I had created a custom invite explaining the service and why I was inviting people but they replaced it with that profile crap.

    I can't even post and explanation and retraction on my blog because WordPress.com is having an epic failure and suspended the accounts of some of their well known bloggers like Lorelle Van Fossen and myself.

    On the flip side though, I'm having a great time playing Age of Kings on my Nintendo DS instead of blogging :)

    As a twitter addict I have to say that maybe there is a need for a twitter penalty for not making an effort to fix up your twitter home page!!!. And I should also note that you have the same number of followers and people you follow very rare.

    Definitely agree about the networking out - I find it hard to keep up with all the different sites especially now I have added Ning - which is annoying because every time you join a new Ning network you have to set up your profile for the new community. Honestly Ning please transfer across communities or give us the option.

    Hi Sue, so I guess you're hinting I should customize my Twitter page - OK I think I'll do that tonight :) I sure don't want my cool avatar to get stuck in a penalty box...

    Actually Jason was having a chuckle because in reality we rarely look at each others twitter site. I have spelling mistakes on my image -- which I have not bothered to change.

    The only true penalty can be not to have an avatar. Besides I can tell you are not quite into Twitter yet? :)

    Yeah I have to keep reminding myself to Twitter. It hasn't become a super big habit but I do check out what other people I'm following are Twittering daily.

    Yes much nicer now Jason.

    Instead of just following what they are saying have you tried asking them questions? You might be surprised by the results. While I get great help with use of technology with students -- on the weekend also got parenting advice and was fortunate enough for my girlfriend to tell the world that I was having a nanny nap...now I am getting heaps!!!

    They also give me guidance about blog posts and today they have been debating what I wrote on Rogers Innovation Adoption Curve.
