So far I am thinking of some additional reasons why geeks would like japan: 1) people treat you very nicely in the stores and restaurants no matter what 2) lots of vending machines so you don't have to talk to people [i'm shy] 3) lots of robotic technology 4) video games

Akihabara is always interesting especially for fans of anime
