Webomatica: So Bad They’re Good Movie Contest Winner

  • SpragueD · 2 years ago
Best line: "Roger Ebert wrote the screenplay."

Something to remember whenever we take the pronouncements of movie reviewers too seriously. Just where has that thumb been???

The DVD had a commentary track by Ebert himself that I neglected to listen to (I'll have to rent this flick again, or more likely buy it). I'm really curious how he explains this monstrosity...! I don't think "satire" is a good excuse...

Ah... You're on to me. I definitely used my knowledge of your tastes in movies and music when suggesting this entry to the contest. I think I'll use the gift certificate to buy the soundtrack CD (I'll loan it to you). Good contest. Can't wait for the next one (if I'm eligible).

Haha, wow. This sounds like a terrible, terrible movie...not sure I'll actually watch it, but the details have me strangely intruiged. It sounds like a fantastic train wreck.

That first video is pretty weird...the dude just keeps rambling. Pretty long for a trailer, eh? And the second one actually made the movie sound good. I could enjoy the music, I think (and I'm a rock/metal type).

Anyway, congrats to Daniel!! Guess I should be glad I haven't seen so many terrible movies... :D

Mike I think without the music the movie would have been much different. One funny aspect of the music are the lipsynched performances.
