Shucks. I hadn't seen this but had it on my list. Is this another case of the the trailer being better than the actual film?

Interesting about Brad Pitt and Cate, I didn't know that. Isn't Weisz married to the director? I wonder if he got her to sign onto the film on the cheap...

Dave - yeah this is definitely one of those cases where the trailer takes the highlights of the film - I wish I had just stuck with that. And yes the director and Weisz are a couple, and the film has some actors who were in Requiem for a Dream so maybe he got some pro bono work to get this movie made.

I do have to agree that the word 'Convoluted ' best describes this movie. While it had great visuals, I was left scratching my head at the end.
