i also listened a lot false reviews about them more like they are not fair with what they are suppose to do.

Flixter is a spam scam. If you aren't careful they will spam all the people on the messenger list.

hi, probably asking the wrong people but does anyone know how to access flixter through a proxy without using the words 'flixter' or 'proxy' yes, my school internet sucks.

Hi bree, good observations... maybe flixter is targeted at a younger demographic.

And obviously - I'm signed up for netflix, and enjoy it - the community aspects there are pretty decent (5.7 miilion subscribers). Netflix could just ad more community features and take advantage of the user base they already have.

I had the same reaction ... I loved the sharing of movie reviews & ratings, but really disliked the emphasis on 'friending' and skinning and so on. I also wanted more ways to bring the data stored on Flixster onto my blog. It also seemed very odd that there wasn't a Netflix-type service baked in ... seemed like a logical feature to include. Netflix should buy them and rip out the kiddie stuff.
