  • I had the same reaction ... I loved the sharing of movie reviews & ratings, but really disliked the emphasis on 'friending' and skinning and so on. I also wanted more ways to bring the data stored on Flixster onto my blog. It also seemed very odd that there wasn't a Netflix-type service baked in ... seemed like a logical feature to include. Netflix should buy them and rip out the kiddie stuff.
  • Hi bree, good observations... maybe flixter is targeted at a younger demographic.

    And obviously - I'm signed up for netflix, and enjoy it - the community aspects there are pretty decent (5.7 miilion subscribers). Netflix could just ad more community features and take advantage of the user base they already have.
  • hi, probably asking the wrong people but does anyone know how to access flixter through a proxy without using the words 'flixter' or 'proxy' yes, my school internet sucks.
  • I like flixter but they don't let me make friends on it i like it cos there is someone i used to fancy on it
  • Flixter is a spam scam. If you aren't careful they will spam all the people on the messenger list.
  • i also listened a lot false reviews about them more like they are not fair with what they are suppose to do.
