Damn...that's a sobering bit of news.

Earl was a unique fellow, but he certainly had passion for what he did. I completely forgot about the Garfield BBQs. I imagine his catalog of Unions comic book compilations was quite impressive...

i never understood his polygon shaped heads though, really eccentric. he was a character indeed...
