Here's a screenshot.
Actually, I do remember playing this game. It was called Conan: Hall of Volta .
They are all just Apple II games which are not in Double Hi Res Mode.
I want to see Apple IIe (or //e) games only.
This is an awesome page! Nice memories. I always played Bloody Murder, Pulsar, Blaster and almost all the time the freakin eagle from karateka kicked my butt.
I briefly got into the Zork series, which was actually pretty cool for a text-only game.
Sadly, the //e with the green screen ended up in the trash many years later, along with about 300 disks full of games. Kind of wishing I would have hung onto it....
Thanks for the memories!
The search for the most important thing in the universe (an awesome game but boy were we unimpressed with the ending!), Gruds in Space, Sherwood Forest Adventure, Chivalry, (the first) Castle Wolfenstein, The Summer Olympic Games, Montezuma's Revenge... Thanks for the memories! Yes I still have my IIe in a box downstairs. I'm trying to figure out how to extract data from the 5" floppy disks!
Some other goodies: Wizadry, Rescue Raiders, Aztec, Swashbuckler, Bolo, Taipan, Blode (sp? a birds eye view game of two knights fighting, ridiculously hard to control but gory and fun)
One other memory: All the 'cracked by Mr Hack man' etc. openers on your pirated games.
I used to be obsessed with some of these, like Karateka, Choplifter, Rescue Raiders, and Loderunner.
I also used to love Hard Hat Mack, Moon Patrol, Spy VS Spy, Spy Hunter, the list goes on.
you wouldn't believe how many joysticks the 3 of us siblings wear out every month just playing chop lifter on apple IIe, hehehe
