Heh... I recently changed my favicon to a smaller (albiet uninterpretable version) of my cat icon - seeings how I'm already using it on technorati and MyBlogLog. I didn't put much thought into the initial cat useage deployment.

But of course, I have some future plans: set up a page on Catster, put the full version of the cat photograph on my about page, and print up some business cards promoting webomatica and featuring the cat art. No, I'm not joking...

MyCatBlogLog sounds like a good idea... although one of the folks at MyBlogLog has a connection to Catster, so it's probably already in the works!

Yeah... newsfire was pretty nice, but it limited the number of feeds I could subscribe to without paying (I'm sorry I'm so cheap!). Maybe I'll pony up for the NetNewsWire since I'm already standing here with one foot in the door.

Google reader is pretty darned slick, but as I mentioned, there are times when I'm not online and I still want to read stuff.

Like you, I settled on NetNewsWire Lite after trying all the others. But I really missed the smart folders of NewsFire. If you want to follow a few specific subjects intermittently covered in a wide range of feeds, they're really indispensable. So I bit the bullet and shelled out for NetNewsWire (non-lite). Worth every penny. Now I have smart lists + flagging + sync between machines. Heaven.

That being said, I really want to love Google Reader. There are so many things I like about it, but the interface is still too darn slow for my tastes. Still, it's fun to play with as my 'casual' feed reader.
